12000 out of sight ?
Dialog on the recent stock slide with the Alter Ego, first drafted on Jan. 23, published on Jan. 30, 2010
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Question by Alter Ego of Noah denkt™ (AE): After the announcement of an imminent credit tightening in China
and the poor data coming out of the US, stock indexes all over the world have dropped considerably. Does Noah
denkt™ believe that this is the beginning of
the double dip that everybody has been talking about ?
Answer by Noah denkt™ (Nd): It could well be that this is it.

AE: If that’s the case though,
your continued bullishness earlier on will turn out to be misguided, won't it?
Nd: That is correct too.

AE: Can we call this then your first major prediction error?
Nd: Well, it isn’t our first major error. We also got it wrong when speculating that this current recession would not
be very worrisome. And then we also have to admit that this double dip, if it actually turns out to be one, comes
way sooner than we had expected it.

AE: So it isn’t all rosy then with
Noah denkt™’s track record?
Nd: No, it isn’t.

AE: Will you be selling stocks now, that a double dip seems more than likely?
Nd: No, we believe we won’t sell any stocks at this point.

AE: Why is that?
Nd: First, we are not sure as to how far down this current drop will actually go and secondly, and more
importantly, we do like the companies that we are shareholders of. And since we are proud to be part of them and
we do not want to leave them behind like an old shirt that’s been worn too many times.

AE: Isn’t that a little stupid? After all, no one in any of companies you are referring to, will give a dime about you
as a retail investor?
Nd: That’s certainly true. But we still have hard time to be as cold-blooded as a true opportunism requires.

AE: In other words, your stance in this is partly due to
your bleeding-heard Golden Rule strategy?
Nd: Correct.

AE: Well, I wish you luck with this.
Nd: We doubt that this comes straight from your heart.

AE: No comment.
Nd: Whatever…
