The post-modern Scapegoat Reference Guide
An overview on social and political blame sharing in 2016, drafted and published on July 6, 2015

A scapegoat is a person or animal which takes on the sins of others, or is unfairly blamed for problems. The concept comes
originally from Leviticus in which a goat is designated to be cast into the desert with the sins of the community. Other ancient
societies had similar practices. In psychology and sociology, the practice of selecting someone as a scapegoat has led to the
concept of scapegoating. – Wikipedia )

Aaron is to offer the bull for his own sin offering to make atonement for himself and his household. Then he is to take the two goats
and present them before the LORD at the entrance to the tent of meeting. He is to cast lots for the two goats—one lot for the LORD
and the other for the scapegoat.[b] Aaron shall bring the goat whose lot falls to the LORD and sacrifice it for a sin offering. But the
goat chosen by lot as the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the LORD to be used for making atonement by sending it into
the wilderness as a scapegoat. Leviticus 16: 6-10

There can be no doubt that life in the age of the global digital economy is confusing and difficult. It is hard to
keep track of all the dramatized and hysteric twist and turns which the fast changing global mess produces.
Noah denkt™ has therefore decided to offer you a guide on the current list of scapegoats that are commonly
being singled out as the root cause for evil in today's world by the various currents of political, social and
economic debate. Hopefully this will help you to stay clear of the many populist traps of reasoning that are out
there. Needless to say that this listing is neither comprehensive nor in-depth enough but it still echoes the best
of our knowledge at this time.
